Lifestyle sports events specialists, Stillwater Sports, approached Moonsport to promote and market the FNB Run Your City Series Heritage Day Virtual Run 2020. Being the first time they had planned a virtual run the main objectives were to educate entrants around a virtual run, meet race entry targets and maintain sponsor activation and satisfaction all within their digital ecosystem.
During a time when social participation was limited, we were able to create a digital-first experience for the Run Your City Series community to participate in the first-ever FNB Heritage Day Virtual Run. Increasing online fan participation, delivering on sponsorship requirements and selling out the digital event allowed runners and fans alike to hit the road running in a virtual sphere.
