BRIEF
Moonsport was asked to create an in-stadia fan-first production to elevate the SA20 cricket experience to create an unforgettable sporting experience. With global aspirations and international status, it required a seamless integration between sport presentation and broadcast.
RESULTS
The end result was multiple sold-out of cricket venues across South Africa and large amounts of positive sentiment for the SA20 cricket tournament all around the world for a cricket spectacle never-before seen in SA.

WHAT WE DID
Moonsport was appointed and the leagues sports presentation agency and assembled a team best-in-class individual to manage six cricket venues and 33 Matches (plus 1 postponed final) for the SA20 across Sports Presentation, Broadcast & overall entertainment to ensure there was a uniform experience and sporting spectacle
Entertainment Hub: MCs, DJ and Entertainment
Moonsport provided a SA20 stage platform per venue that not only caters for the DJ and MCs but also functioned as an entertainment platform for artists, bands and other fan engagement activations. It was the focal point for all sportpres delivery.
Broadcast:
We worked hand-in-hand with Supersport show callers to leverage off all available content to allow the fans at home and in stadium to have the informative and entertaining cricket experience
Fan in-stadia experience
Big Screens at each venue allowed fans to have an immersive experience with bold eye-catch graphics combined with stats and Supersport highlights to ensure no moment was missed. This was supported with more than 10 different fan engagement cams such as band cams, kiss cam to keep fans part of the sporting experience. While still delivering on all sponsor requirements through customised screen design presentations
Pyro played a vital role to highlight key moments in the match as wow-factor through all matches and maximising exposure for TV and fans in the stadium.
Technology and technical resources played a huge role in a strong audio, visual and experiential event.
