To ensure that every second of race action was captured, Helium procured nine remote on-route race feeds using LiveU packs from tracking vehicles, motorbikes, and helicopter feeds, allowing the viewers at home to be part of every key racing moment. In addition, the race footage was supplemented with behind-the-scenes imagery, on-the-ground interviews at cutoff gates and sidelines, and cutaway imagery of the KwaZulu Natal landscape to ensure the narrative of the race could be maintained by the production director for a world-class sports production.
