It is one of the most challenging races to run, and even more so to produce a remote broadcast due to the inaccessibility and limited connectivity of the race route. Combined with runners spread out over large distances across three different races and routes. Therefore, Moonsport and Helium leveraged off small camera crews, made up of cameramen on foot (running) supported by vehicles at key locations to get a POV immersive sporting experience. Using the latest remote broadcast technology and innovative camera solutions a unique broadcast solution was tailored for UTCT boasting intimate access to the elite runners throughout the multi-day broadcast.
