MATCH IN AFRICA
Sports Presentation
The brief was to create and produce a show that would rival any sports entertainment production on a global scale that matches the status of the athletes of the show – Roger Federer, Trevor Noah, Bill Gates, Rafael Nadal, and South Africa's best performances. All while attempting to break the world record for the largest attended tennis match in the world. An entertainment delivery that entertained not only the world record-breaking crowd of 51,000 but also a global broadcast audience and a once-off conversion of a football field into a tennis court.
MOONSPORT DEVELOPED AND MANAGED THE SHOW FORMAT, RUNNING ORDER, PRESENTER SCRIPT, ENTERTAINMENT AND PROVIDED IN-STADIUM BROADCAST FACILITIES. THIS INCLUDES SUPPLYING ALL KEY CREW FROM A SHOW CALLING, CAMERA OPERATOR, FLOOR MANAGERS, AND EVENT DIRECTOR.
THE LARGEST TENNIS CROWD IN THE WORLD.
"I think we can’t describe our feelings. It’s a lifetime experience playing here in front of such an amazing crowd in such An amazing stadium.” - Rafael Nadal
